“The Song is an emotional rollercoaster ride and tells about my twisted relationship with the nighttime. We wrote it about my big struggles with nightmares and how I am scared to fall asleep at times cause I never know what I’m gonna be facing in my dreams. Sometimes I have the scariest nightmares for months and months and it feels like it never stops. but i am also fascinated by the night and I love when it gets dark out. There is something dangerous and exciting about it and it gives me life. So I have a love hate relationship with darkness and loneliness and that’s what the song is about.”

“La chanson est une foule d’émotions contradictoires et raconte ma relation tordue avec la nuit. Nous l’avons écrite à propos de ma lutte avec les cauchemars et comment j’ai parfois peur de m’endormir parce que je ne sais jamais ce que je vais affronter dans mes rêves. Parfois, je fais des cauchemars effrayants pendant des mois et des mois et j’ai l’impression que ça ne s’arrête jamais. Mais je suis aussi fasciné par la nuit et j’aime quand il fait sombre. Elle a quelque chose de dangereux et d’excitant et je me sens revivre. J’ai donc une relation d’amour-haine avec l’obscurité et la solitude et c’est ce dont parle la chanson.”- Bill
“In a way we go back to our roots and we bring the signature TokioHotel guitar riffs back but the song really is a mix of chill house bass synth and warm 80’s pads and drum production. It has a strong focus on a crisp pop vocal production.”
